Restoration of Vandalised Monuments at Wollongong General Cemetery
Monuments in Memoriam (The General Cemetery Trust) engaged in a charitable project with Wollongong City Council and undertook damage repairs on some of the regions oldest monuments and headstones. These headstones were vandalised in the Wesleyan Presbyterian section in Wollongong General Cemetery in January last year - many of these graves are the resting place of several Illawarra pioneers.
