The Rookwood General Cemetery Trust re-branded its stonemasonry business in September 2008 to become Monuments in Memoriam.
We have approximately eight (8) years experience in repair and restoration of old monuments and headstones (in granite, marble and sandstone) as well as monumental design/construction for the Chinese, Vietnamese, Khmer, Indochinese, Hindu, Druze and Islamic Faiths. Through our work with Rookwood Anglican Cemetery Trust, we also have experience in Assyrian Christian, Serbian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Macedonian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Italian, Mandaen, Maori, Armenian, Christian, Catholic and Jewish backgrounds.
Aside from possessing a vast knowledge of the numerous cultural, religious and ethnic factors that must be considered when designing and constructing memorials, our organisation has for several years now been arranging its own monumentation in lawn, full monumental and ash memorial package areas within the Anglican and General Cemetery Trust.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and we back it with our 25 Year Warranty (excluding granolite constructed works, bronze plaques and some restorations). Our standards and expectations are high, and we comply with the Australian Standard (AS4204-1994) for the construction of Headstones and Cemetery Monuments.
